Magee Building Contractors Ltd are a family firm of builders based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

We specialise in extensions, loft conversions and complete refurbishments, and in period properties. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, and on listening to what our client wants, not what we think they want.

We stay on the job until it is finished, and always give the customer a work schedule, so they know how long the work will take.

We were delighted to be nominated for the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) Building Excellence Awards 2010. We were one of six finalists whittled down from an entry of around 2,000. Our winning entry was for The clockhouse, Hedsor Park Stables, which was a complete refurbishment of the stable block and took the best part of a year to complete. The project consisted of the development of four mews style houses, one ground floor apartment and a studio flat. Further works were carried out to the exterior courtyard to include the Italian inspired fountain which reflects upon similar architectural themes within Hedsor House itself.
